I homeschooled my children so it became part of their cirriculum to read the correspondence of famous people from history. The frankness with which she writes piques my interest.<br /> <br />In college days, I had two "letter writing" friends. There were months, where we wrote 2-3 times each week. One of those friends, still has about 40 of my letters from that time period.
